Geethavarshini Kannan

Geetha is a freshman who is a biomedical engineering major here at Drexel university, she is from Princeton, New Jersey. She wants to do a concentration in Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials. Her interests include painting and reading books of all genres she is part of the PHIDE, a pre-med fraternity at Drexel.

Daniel Curtis

Daniel grew up on the north shore of Massachusetts. He enlisted in the US Navy as an Aviation Electrician Technician. While honorably serving 5 years active duty, 3 of those were on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. Separated as a Petty Officer 2nd class. Spent the next 4 years working for a nonprofit as an Employment Specialist assisting disabled veterans and their their families obtain gainful employment. Currently a student at Drexel University pursuing a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. 

Hafsa Mohammed

 Hafsa Mohammed is a 19 year old Mechanical Engineering student at Drexel University. She grew up in the southern part of New Jersey in a township called Cherry Hill. One day she hopes to work for the Walt Disney Company as one of the many incredible Imagineers. Hafsa is most passionate about making a difference in others’ lives while also living her own life to the fullest. Her favorite motto to live by is, “all our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” (Walt Disney).

Javion Smith-Sanders

Javion is a 18 year old Computer Engineering student at Drexel University. Javion grew up in New York City. Javion has a passion for robotics, motion profiling, and controls. He is an active volunteer at FIRST Robotics and wants to help other students get more involved in STEM.

Sima Noorani

Sima is an Electrical/Computer engineering major at Drexel University. She immigrated to the United-states in 2013 and has been living in Bucks County,PA since. She is pursuing a double major and a minor in computer science. She hopes to obtain a PHD degree in the future and engage in research related to cyber-security and networking. Sima has a professional degree in calligraphy and enjoys creating art-pieces in her free-time.

Thomas Evers

Thomas Evers is currently a freshman seeking a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University. He has been interested in engineering for a majority of his academic career. Mr. Evers was involved in robotics since he was 13. This is a passion he continues to explore now. He has had the distinct privilege of working for Roboteam, a leader in cutting edge military and defense robotics, for the past two years. He has also held internships working with the production of graphene as well as evaluating robots for NIST ( National Institute for Standards and Technology). Thomas also has the distinct honor of receiving the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout. He looks forward to the knowledge and experiences he will have at Drexel.
